A Case of Bartter's Syndrome

Abstract
|
|
|
Bartter's syndrome is rare tubular disorder characterized by hypokalemia, hypochloremic metabolic alkalosis, increased plasma renin activity and hyperaldosteronism, without hypertension and peripheral edema.
We report here a case of Bartter's syndrome in 22 year-old female who improved with potassium supplements along with combination of prostaglandin synthetase inhibitor, aldosterone antagonist and angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitor.
